Rest stop etiquette 101 …If the lot is empty and you see a camper truck and have an annoying child, don’t park next to it. Worst sleep I’ve had in some time. Gunshots in the distance, occasional traffic and two vehicles whom decided to park near me when the entire lot was basically empty. Nice rest area otherwise and is probably quiet most of the time. I’ve slept through freight trains, semi trucks, and freeway noise. Last night just wasn’t my night.

Rest area along HW 20. Close to Crater of the Moon, Museum EBR 1 and Atomic City. Very quiet on weekends. Toilet and water on the parking lot.

Aire de Repos le long de la HW 20. A proximité de Crater of the Moon, Museum EBR 1 et Atomic City. Très calme le week-end. WC et Eau sur le Parking.

Had the place to ourselves! Flat parking lot can accommodate multiple rigs. Nice bathrooms, dumpsters, covered picnic tables, drinking fountains,

May be noisy in the summer but not too bad in the winter. If you need a flat spot that is easy to find, this is it. Bathrooms are super clean and warm with a heated lobby area even. I almost pulled out my yoga mat to do some stretching in there ;)

Bathrooms and plenty of spots, slightly noisy but it’s one of the only spots for a while.
