Guatemala
if u are headed to Acatenango trailhead, it is better to take the CHM11 road from Antigua. even if you are coming from the coast, worth considering doing the detour via Antigua. the CHM 11 is a nicely paved road, whilst this one is a dirt road with many pot holes and washboard surface. totally doable, but nowhere nearly as comfortable.

Very steep road. With the potholes you have to drive very slow but it is very steep. Almost broke our clutch.
Report Check-InStill not so bad, some parts are gullied by water but it is ok for a car with high clearance.
Report Check-InTotaly fine with our 2wd low clearance minivan. Would call it standard cenral american road. Bumby dirt road yes, but have been to much worse.
Report Check-InAt the time we used this road we found it to be suitable for any kind of vehicle.
