Huge campsite in the Nation Forest. Absolutely no one around for miles. Site is approx 60 feet by 60 feet and extremely level. Fire ring made of stone. Had a bunch of fire wood left over from last people here. Zero cellphone reception at this location. Highly recommend this location if you aren’t worried about cellphone reception.

The previous poster has confused this spot with the area at the very end of FR30. You definitely do not need 4x4 for this one… Very easy access off FR30 with a large camping area. The picture with the bus is accurate. It is more exposed and not as private, but works perfectly if you need sun for solar panels.
No Verizon reception. So many black and white butterflies flying around the area in the Summer, loved it.
Stars were gorgeous at night. This spot is at around 1800 feet elevation and the temps dropped down to high 40’s at night (early July).
Report Check-InI so much wanted to stay here! The “driveway” of the campsite was too gnarly for me. You need a 4-wheel drive. The pic doesn’t do it justice. Plenty of other sites but this is the best.
