Very nice campground with about 15-20 spots. I got the last one available, so try to get here a little early. I arrived at sunset.

As described. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Very quiet but filled up quickly as the sun went down. A bit buggy for September!

un très beau camping gratuit mais vous pouvez faire un dons 15 sites, très très propre toilettes sèches, lac, vous pouvez faire du canot gratuit ils vous prêtent même les canots et vestes, le hoste est super gentil wow magnifique

Great spot to camp and hang out, the only thing I'd avoid is swimming in the lake. Some friends and I got swimmers itch. But the canoes were excellent!

Beautiful free campground with free firewood and free canoe rental. We stayed 2 nights and it was so calm. Mosquitos were not bad on site 13. Pit toilets are very clean and smell good.

Still lovely, well kept and free in 2023. Some 4G reception on my Google Fi, it shows as zero bars but messages are coming in.

Free camping in a lovely campground. Hosts and canoes were gone, but still clean and well maintained. Few campers and mosquitos this late in the year.

Nice free campground with trash cans and nice vault toilets. Super clean and very quiet. Free firewood (from what we could tell) Only a handful of people were here about 15 sites. Great for a stopover after crossing into Alaska!

Fantastic spot rights beside the lake near the canoes and dock. Likes it so much we stayed two nights. Lots of room. Free firewood. Clean bathrooms. 5 out of 5.

This is the best free campground we have stayed at all summer, perhaps ever in all our travels. Nice 1.2 mile gravel road in, private back in sites, most are level, free firewood, free use of canoes lakeside, clean pit toilets, no litter, bear proof trash cans, boardwalk with interpretive signs about the area, 75% full on a Saturday night, some sites big rig friendly, no cell service, fire pits, picnic tables. and/but there are mosquitoes. Still can’t believe it’s FREE!

12 private sites nice lake with swans ans ducks, free canoes, life jacquet and free wood for 0 $ strongly recommend this campground

The comment "I think the drive in is smoother than the highway" was uttered. Well maintained rock road to a large loop. Was able to get 65 ft of MH and trailer into site 10, and still get leveled. Other sites no where near as long. Easy to get in and out and around loop with limbs trimmed back. Still free firewood and nice canoes with life jackets and donation based camping.

deadman Lake campground free, mosquitos, spaces mostly big enough for big rigs, nice, no views to the lake

passed this on our way into AK and we're excited to stay on the way back. unfortunately the mosquitos were so bad we didn't even want to get out of the car. a lovely campground, just wish we could have enjoyed it more! still free, still free firewood, still canoes/vests to use. no service.

Wonderful place, quiet and nice. Super friendly host. Close to the lake. Clean area and dog friendly.

Awesome spot. We had it to ourselves. Open as October 21st 2021. It has been plowed. Peaceful, gorgeous. As we were leaving a caravan of 30 swans flew over us. Magical.

A welcome place to stay after a long drive up to Alaska. Beautifully maintained park! No trash. Free firewood. No fee camping (donations accepted). Six nice canoes with god paddles and life jackets to use for free. Good fishing in the lake

This place is just as described. Lovely spot on the lake in wildlife refuge. Volunteer hosts very welcoming and camp is immaculate.

Excellent small campground. very private sites. Only a couple on water. Campground host in duty. Donations only. Firewood available. Black spruce forward. Large private circular drive. 1.2 miles off highway. Excellent stopover while waiting to cross border. Not equipped for large rigs. Narrow road and tight turns. Wet earth. Dog approved.

Free campground, donations accepted. Very clean pit toilet, gravel sites by lake with picnic table and fire ring. Summer time they have free canoes to use on the lake. Can accommodate any size rig.

Oui, Deadman Lake dans le Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge à l’entrée de l’Alaska.
En bonus, des toilettes sèches qui sentaient tellement bon. 💐 Merci aux hosts pour leur travail.
