beautiful and peaceful surroundings. we stayed at this spot first, then we went around the lake on the opposite side and stayed next to the lake and a torrent.
the rangers have a house for rent 20000 dram per night, sleep 3 , with kitchen and view of the lake. they also have rooms in the main building for 3000 dram per person per night

Great Place with fantastic spots and a lot of tracks for hiking.

A super beautiful place! It can be quiet cold during night. After the check-in at the control station you will find many different spots to camp near the lake.
Just don’t think about taking a bath, it’s way too muddy! :-)

You can camp really anywhere around the lake. This spot wasn't the best, but quite sheltered from the wind. At night there were dogs barking so I would suggest camping a litter further away from town. The next day we ran into a park ranger who invited us into his home for coffee and an insane amount of food.
We rode around the lake and through the national park by bike: incredibly beautiful and the nicest people!

Ps. The coordinates won't update, we camped north of the lake near Tsaghkut.
