Latest Check-Ins

Nice quiet little town with some interesting buildings. I didn't use any of the facilities so I can't comment on those, but I got a good rest and fueled up in the morning.

Report Check-In

Dump station and potable water fill, bathrooms and picnic tables with shade. 16 hour overnight stay OK. There is a donation box to help pay for the facility.

The town of Mackay is an old mining town. The surrounding area is full of old mines and relics.
The town is VERY traveler friendly with free overnight parking, potable water and a dump station.
There are a few shops and diners that are all within walking distance.
We should all support towns like this. Overland travel would be so much easier if we all did.
Escapemog gives Mackay a 5 star thumbs up.
