Description
The Dawson City Hostel is at the other side of the Yukon river. The ferry which is free is operating 24/7 on demand.
The hostel is very basic and lets you experience how life has been in the old times. It is all established by hand and run by the owner Dieter.
The water in the washrooms is from a creek and only cold, if you want hot water there is a showering room with a big stove to make hot water. The shower is a bucket or can you can fill it up with the water that you want.
The kitchen facilities are also only operated by wood. And there is free drinkable water from the town of Dawson.
In this place I haven‘t seen any electronics like lights or outlets.
It’s still very nice and has a great view on the city of Dawson.
If you need a real washroom with a toilet you could use the tourist information ;-)
14,70$ per night with a tent for one person

Probably very nice when there is a lot of people... can be a nice commune place lots of old mini house , kitchen area. Toilet pit , no shower (the owner said that you can start a fire in one of the house and make a sona or something like that) , nice little path towards a nice view of Dawson. 14,70$ per night .
