$25 for a sweet view of Valdez night lights across the bay, flanked by mountains and clouds. Also, this spot is just past a hatchery that has insane numbers of salmon return, so sea lions, bears, and otters feed a lot around this area. There any many waterfront sites at separate stretches of the road. The surface is hard pack gravel, the road is paved. Walkways down to the shore. Fishing. Saw 2 bears carry off fish also

Not nice at all! Lots of noise from the road, Generators running and Dust is unreal, feels like Nevada. Needed to keep everything shut. only stayed because of lack of opportunities in the area. By the way, there are no electric sites here, dry only.
The roadside parking 1 mile up the road is even worse, with cars and trucks rushing by 2 feet side of you, no way.
Now I paid 25$ for an unserviced dustbin here.
Very basic gravel pull off with site numbers. Dry camping - no electric. Not sure why others mention electric hookups - Im not seeing any. $25/night for non-military or $20/night for military.
