Description

We found this free campground when every place to camp was full on this road.
We find a place at 06.00PM and there was some other place free.
We have a 8 meters (26")motorhome and 3.7 meters high(13") and it was ok in the forest.
You have a little river if you need water.
You hear the road but it's ok the night.
You have a special place to park your horses too.
And it's nice and clean....
What else
Enjoy your trip

It's great! Pulled in about 3pm, had the whole place to ourselves except for a deer that was grazing. Found a "pull- through" site that was right next to the corral. Super flat, didn't even have to unhook! Firepit, picnic table, and a short walk down a narrow path to to little creek. Great for a mid week overnight, very peaceful.

Nice campground with very large trees and lots of shade reasonably clean out house. No one here at night, but two travelers pulled in early morning for a couple hours sleep out at daybreak. Road noise minimal overnight, but does need to be dealt with, no cell phone connection.

Nice spot. Plenty of space and shadow.
Quiet at night.

Absolutely wonderful site! We were the only folks here. No bugs. We did have difficulty hammering in the yurt stakes as the ground is VERY rocky.

Very nice and clean campground and its free! There is a small river which is a short hike from the corral area. Some noise from the highway, but not bad.

This is a free campsite. You can stay up to 16 days then you have to move to another campsite. Bathrooms were clean there is no water so you have to bring in your own water or walk to the creek. We have two dogs and they did well at the campground they didn't do a whole lot of barking. We stayed there probably about a week and a half and the last 3 days of it a little black bear decided to visit us and took all of our food he was being a stinker.

This is a beautiful spot. Showed up at 7pm and there was only one other camper there. Plenty of spots available. Only drawback was that there is not AT&T or Verizon service at all. The sites in the back have horse fencing. There a short trail (2mins) to a nice creek from the horse area.

Report Check-In

very nice campground. a little noise from road but with music on its fine. fire/BBQ rings and picnic tables. spot #3 is the best, shady and large. pit toilets are fine, bring toilet paper.
