Loved it there. Got the last free spot when I arrived at 6pm. It was right by the creek and I slept to the sound of rushing water!

BLM Campground- Free as of today. There are clean vault toilets, no water, no garbage so pack it in, pack it out. 10 sites near river & interstate. Take High Ore Rd Exit (not the awful gravel road outside of Boulder). Each site has a picnic table and fire pit.

We considered staying in the Conoco Truck Stop parking lot for the night. Decided to check Galena Gulth first. Glad we did 🙂

Popular place. Filled up fast on this date.

Great free BLM campground. Most sites are in full sunny all day, but if you depend on solar to keep your batteries charged, like I do, you'll appreciate that. Fair AT&T signal (2 bars). Easy to get to. Some road noise, but to be expected when looking for the convenience of a place right off the highway you're traveling on. 2 pit toilets but no other amenities. Pack it in/pack it out. BTW, aluminum doesn't burn, so don't throw your beer cans in the camp fire.

This was an excellent site. We were the only one there. Someone else arrived later on. Quite despite being close to the road. River flowing was nice. We saw a few garbage bags left behind unfortunately. Very easy to get to an convenient. Leveled for our little tear drop camper.

Report Check-In

Site open. We were the only people there. A little noise from the highway but overall a good place to spend the night.

Nice overnight spot. Freeway is a little noisy but not overwhelming. Arrived on a Thursday evening and there were still two spots left.

Report Check-In

Quiet, flat, relaxed and easy - we’ll likely stop here should we pass this way again.

Beautiful campground next to Boulder River with some picnic tables & fire rings, fenced area, pit toilets, grassy level areas to park. Limited camp areas, some signal.
