Description
Nice hostel in Baeza Colonial. We paid 30 USD for a matrimonial for 2 with bathroom. No breakfast, but kitchen. You can have breakfast at la casa de Gina, y beside. Fast Wi-Fi. Garage for 2 cars. Height 2.50m. Rodrigo is very welcoming. He also rents kayaks and knows a lot about the region.

This is a really nice spot to stay. Rodrigo for whom the Casa is named is wonderful. I came here twice a few months apart, and he remembered me and our conversations, and was so helpful both times. The hotel is nice, cheap ($20 single room), has a kitchen, and has excellent covered Moto parking. Other rigs can fit inside too as long as they are not too tall.
Gina’s restaurant next door is great for breakfast, the Mirador restaurant up the street has excellent grilled meats. There is also a wonderful waterfall hike you can do just down the block from the hotel. If you go at the right times of day you’ll see the Cock of the Rock birds. Rodrigo also arranged for me to be able to visit a hummingbird garden (Las Brisas) about 6 min driving away, which was lovely and has some short trails too. This area is extremely famous for its whitewater rafting and I’m sure Rodrigo can set that up if you ask.
