Donation based spring water at a convent | Water

Spigot located on the side of a convent where locals come to fill their water bottles on a donation basis. Water pressure is good and you can connect a hose but I don't think the locals would appreciate a foreigner filling their 100 gallon tank. Be considerate, use a garrafón, don't take more than you need and don't forget to donate! 💖

Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 AM to 12 AM. It is possible to connect a hose. The flow is low. Many locals come to fill their garafon, expect to wait. It is theoretically limited to 2 garafons per person.

Water available from 6am-10am. The water is fairly slow, and a lot of locals fill up bottles here, so make sure you arrive with patience. We accessed with our truck camper.

No water came out of the tap when we tried. You can pull up right beside it.

You can reach it by car again. Connect with a hose, watertap wirh standard 1/2" connection.

Unfortunately road access is blocked off now. You can still fill bottles though, but connecting a hose is no longer possible.
