Description

Cheap. Loads of character. Centrally located. Hot showers. Kitchen. Awesome communal space in a 4-floor terrarium with tons of light coming in from the ceiling. Groovy neighbourhood. And if you've got a small motorbike (or are especially skilled with a big one) you can park it in the lobby. 35 or 45 per person depending on bathroom choice 50 for a private ensuite.

Cheap but not clean, wifi doesn’t work well. For a little bit more Hôtel Milenio next to this one is much more peacefull and nice

If you call “character” graffiti covered walls and dirty bathrooms while listening to hippies play bad music in your room that smells of stale cigarettes until early in the morning this is the place for you. Would not recommend. The staff however, were fantastic and very nice and helpful. Such a weird contrast from the people at this hostel. It’s cheap though. 40bol per night private room shared bath.

Yeah it’s a filthy hippy hostel. People were juggling when we arrived ha!
But there is motorcycle parking!
The door is big enough not to need to remove panniers, its the very narrow, cobblestone, and trafficy one way street which makes it hard to get the bike inside but doable. The people who work helped out a lot to stop the traffic so we could get inside.
Lots of rooms around a huge courtyard that has a roof
The staff are super friendly and they aren’t hippies at all so they clean up stuff.
Standard hostel, not super clean kitchen, suicide showers all stuff you can easily live with for having indoor parking in your hostel in la Paz for 35bol a person in a private room with shared bathroom. 45Bol pp for private bathrooms.
The hippies are quiet and friendly.
We had a pleasant stay, it’s secure and there’s even toilet seats!
Multi level with couches in lots of nooks around the building and power outlets.

35pp, very basic, not the cleanest and newest place but it's ok for a few days. Hot shower and good wifi !
Take a room with a window to the street and not to the central atrium

Motorcycle friendly can park in the communal area. 35bop shared or 50bop private.
The rooms are set in a square over four floors with balconies overlooking the communal area, which gets very sociable so the noise can echo around a bit.
the appearance is a bit tatty and run down but the staff are friendly. I could get decent warmth out of the shower in my room if I reduced the flow as slow as I could before the pressure turned the heater off.
Hippy/backpacker vibe.
One of the staff speaks reasonable English which helps.
The door is always locked but no problems getting in and out ringing the bell.
Beds were comfortable but I needed an extra blanket.
I liked the location. No noise from the street and a short walk into the city centre.
Great Wifi and internet.
Gets a mention in the Marching Powder book.

Good inexpensive hostel close to downtown that has secure parking for motorcycles in the inner court. Parking require removing the side luggage. The interior looks old but it is relatively clean. Spent here 5 good nights.

Nice place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parked a motorbike inside no problem. Fast wifi all over, kitchen, electric showers. Beer and pop are cheap. Paid 40/b for a private room (dorm is 35/b).

Place seems to be very popular with young Latin American hippy types. They were playing music all day but quiet and lights out seems to be enforced about 11pm.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Didn't stay but FYI dogs no longer allowed

Report Check-In

Positives:
*Cheap (35 pp for shared bathroom, 45 for private bath)
*parking (B30pd) opposite the hostel
*good location
*hot showers.
Negatives:
*Uncomfortable beds and bedding
*extremely noisy with both guests playing music to late and street traffic (ask for a room not on street side if you can)
*guests smoking inside which you can smell in your room
*spotty wifi.

So... decide for yourself what you find important.

Paid 35Bs/person for a private room without bathroom. The wifi isn't really fast.. The shower were nearly cold for us. We already paid cheaper for better quality in Bolivia.

basic place for for 40 bols is an absolute bargain. really friendly staff and fast wifi. hippie vibe. highly recommended.

Report Check-In

A bit cold and dirty but probably your cheapest option in la paz with parking opposite at 30 bols per day. Can be loud at night with echoey central common area and bare minimum 'kitchen' ( no plates, cutlery, cups or working fridge, just a sink and a hob really) they will hand wash your clothes for cheap

35 bobs per person, much cheaper than anything else, Yard inside where you can park number of motorbikes (drive through the door), payable parking for cars nearby. Not the cleanest but cheapest, big kitchen, friendly staff. good place.

Report Check-In

it is very basic, our room looks like a kitchen but it is fairly cheap for the area and the ambience is nice.
we could park a motorbike inside.

Best value for money anywhere! We paid 80 Bs for 2 people (matrimonio with private bathroom). WiFi is better than most places in Bolivia and showers are hot. Rooms are basic but clean.
Rooms with shared bathroom are 35 Bs. Really friendly owner as well!
