Quiet, flat, byo toilet paper. A bit of smell from the paper mill overnight
Report Check-InQuiet night…
Busy with mountain bikers after work then we had the parking lot to ourselves.
Pit toilet was not very well maintained but functional.
Big levelled gravel parking lot with picnic table, pit toilet and a trailhead to awesome mtb trails, plus a pump track. No “no camping” signs. Attendant came by around 8pm to clean the toilet and didn’t say anything to us. In fact, if you go down to another parking lot (as seen on Trailforks app), you will see “no camping” sign and a note that for after hours access people should use the upper parking lot (this one). Some people came late at night and left shortly after, we weren’t bothered. If you are tempted to explore nearby Takla service road for more secluded camping spot, don’t do it - at least in the first few km, there were no pull offs and it went to a reserve with lots of private property signs, and the road was terrible.
Report Check-InGood place to spend one night, but it can be busy in the morning or evening with people coming in and out of the trail.
Report Check-InOne of the nicer safer places around Prince George. We spent 2 nights here. Quiet, dark, and less busy after sunset. Pit toilets are fine, byo toilet paper
