Great spot that isn’t super crowded. Still $15 paid by envelope after hours. It is an amazing view of the mountain range, amazing sunset behind you, beautiful sunrise right in front of you. We are here in Labor Day weekend and there are still spots available unlike most other places completely full.
Report Check-InStopped to check this place out, and ended up staying two nights. It was stormy in the evenings while I was here, so I didn’t get any star gazing in. The night is so dark, here. I walked the vortex garden a couple of times—so much to take in. It’s a very friendly place, and I recommend a visit. $5 to check it out, $15 to dry camp and enjoy the night sky.
Report Check-In$15 a night. porta potties. really cool spot to camp. the STARS and the milky way are visible at this location. bring a neck pillow cause all you will be doing is looking up at night. Candence was super nice & helpful.
