Pretty huge pulloff. AT&T mast here. Didn’t stay as not level enough for our 38ft RV.

Report Check-In

Slept here one night. Pulled in after dark another van slept here as well. Little road noise

Report Check-In

We sleep here for 3 night’s. Like everyone said it’s noise. If is hot and you need to open the window the traffic noise will be a problem, but if is cold, within close window no noise problem :)

Report Check-In

Good spot, handy to rmnp. Pit toilets, few other people camping.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 1 night after visiting RMNP. Part of the pullout was incredibly icy but since it is very large we parked on some non-icy gravel. There is a pit toilet near the entrance of the trail. There is no cell service here.

Report Check-In

just as described. surrounded by beautiful mountains. a little noisy at night but not bad at all. pulled in here in January and there was lots of snow but we were able to park without a problem. no service here for verizon or AT&T

Report Check-In

A good place for the winter when a lot of roads are inaccessible. Stayed for one evening and night. Construction is ongoing and they had a bright light on overnight to direct traffic, but it made it feel safe. Nice to have access to the bathroom at the trailhead as well

Report Check-In

This is a large pull off/parking for Lion Trail. It is right on Hwy 36 lots of traffic during the day but it did slow down at night. We stayed here 3 nights from during the off season. We left our C class parked here during the day while we went into the RMNP. We had no trouble, slept good at night with fan for noise machine. We would stay here again.

Report Check-In

Great spot just 40 min away from RMNP. we stayed one night and there were no issues. There was construction setting up on the road when we were getting ready to leave at around 4am but it wasn’t disruptive!

Report Check-In

lots of space on this large pull-off. vault toilet at the actual trailhead. easy access to RMNP.

Report Check-In

Large pull off at Lion Gulch Trailhead. Pit toilets about fifteen feet behind the trailhead sign. We were the first to park around 8pm, but by 10pm there where two other vans and two cars. Traffic noise quieted down around then too. Right outside of Estes Park! No AT&T signal.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 2 nights, leaving during the day to visit the park. More spacious than the other pullouts on this road. Safe and relatively quiet despite the passing cars, and very convenient access to Estes.

Report Check-In

had a good night's sleep despite the road noise. only 10-15 mins to Estes Park and rocky mountains np. pit toilet had tp

Report Check-In

Nice place if your heading to the NP. It's hard to find places in the area. As this is a pull off along the road you can expect some road noise but quits down at night. I would stay again

Report Check-In

Decent place to stop if you have no other option close to the park. No cell service.

Report Check-In

Stayed here without issues. road noise is relatively quiet from 8pm - 6am. We pulled in around 7:30pm and there was one other campervan here. left around 6:30am and saw another van had joined us. Plenty of space to fit more people as well. One vault toilets at the start of the trail, but you may need to supply your own tp

Great parking at the Lion Trailhead off 36. I spent 2 nights here with no problems at all. One other car camper stayed here as well with no issue. Easy drive to Rocky Mountain NP! Would recommend!
