Description

Please update on road conditions.

Free. 100m before trailhead, there’s a big open area for dispersed camping with some homemade fire rings. There’s a pit toilet at the trailhead.

User maintained site. 14 day limit.

It’s on rocks, so not tent friendly I think.

The 1km trail leads to an awesome viewpoint of the 98ft tall falls.

Turn on Mile 171 road (no signs). 17km off the highway on gravel and dirt road. Smaller RVs only. Can be muddy after rain. 100m before camp, there’s a bigger hole where you would need to have high clearance to pass it with confidence, but we managed to go through with our really low class B (96 Roadtrek).

Very nice waterfall and open place without anything special to sleep. Roadin probably had some work done because appart from the last 2min it was easy 2wd low clearance. Last stretch doable slowly

Big mud patch 8 km in, did not attempt with awd

Okay, here is what you need to know: the falls are absolutely spectacular.

There road to get there is rough. So you may be alone there. The first 5km are in good shape. But after that there are potholes, stones, it gets muddy - you get the picture.

I wouldn't attempt this unless you have a 4WD or a high clearance vehicle. You are on a very remote road, with little to no traffic. There is also no service there. Help to get you out of mud is hours away even if you can call it.

Driving the road took us about 1h.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet. beautiful walk to absolutely beautiful waterfalls. a 'must do' for sure.

However, I wouldn't attempt this road if its wet or raining. there are huge holes and big muddy ruts.
