Lovely spot to spend the night right on the river and it's deep enough and big enough for a swim. Coordinates aren't 100% correct, continue down dirt track some 300m more. Access is easy even for our lowered bus. Absolutely zero celular reception. Private household seem to "run" the place and thus you feel safe knowing that you're not totally alone. Don't let them charge you, it's a public area. Probably best to avoid at weekends.

It's still there. A bit further down the road than you'd expect. Nobody around on a Tuesday afternoon. Cleaned up some litter and bottle caps and stayed the night...
Report Check-Init's an open parquing lot in front of a River with with sand where you can swim and cool down from the Heat. there is a bar and toilets for 500 COP. parking and overnight are free.
But lots of sandflies, or gengenes, at night, so be aware to close all Windows.
