Description

Asked the security guard from the Leaning Center if I could sleep in the parking lot for the park, he told me that he has never seen anybody come by, so it’s pretty much a free go. Had a good night of sleep with no problems.
RV wasn't a problem.

very convenient for anyone traveling this side of the island.
there's a gate but they don't seem to lock it (midweek).
under power lines so a bit of buzzing and trucks run to the nearby landfill from 6:30 am. lots of bikers, there's really nice bathrooms and water (doesn't say non potable)

Nice parking lot, quiet. Looks like there are great mountain biking trails here!

We slept here in a sprinter van and we felt very safe. No one bothered us :)

Exploravan, du Québec au Costa Rica!

Good for a night if you just need a place to sleep. Bathrooms open over the night and maybe the guest Wi-Fi from the learning center is working.
Busy in the mornings.

Nothing to right home about, but compared to some spots, this is the Ritz. Free wifi and fairly quite, a good sized gravel parking lot. Plenty of lights around, but they’re not too irritating if you close your eye lids.

Would recommend if your looking for a spot to sleep in Vic 👍🏼

Great place to spend the night. Got there around midnight and there was only one other van there camping as well. Fairly level, bathrooms are nice, quiet until 7am when they let the trucks into the dump. Recommended.

a lot of vehicles and bikers until late and showed up early, and many garbage trucks to the landfill in the early morning. if you don’t mind the noise, very clean place to stay! it’s level and has bathrooms with running water, plus a tap outside. good vibes from all the bikers too

Report Check-In

Tap water available on the bike cleaning station. (seems to be normal quality)
You will need your own hose as the installed hose wouldn't be long enough to reach your vehicle.

Spent the night here without any problem. Nobody came by during the evening except for a couple of car looking for a turnaround. Quiet at night, clean and heated bathrooms, running water, a good spot!

Report Check-In

Great mountain bike trails around, the parking is big and the guy there told me that they never close the gates. There is a very clean washroom with running water. Right in front of the washroom there is a hose with water that you have to pump. There is actually a place on the pole where you can hang the hose, I took a very refreshing shower there. Not sure yet if I can sleep here.

So, I ended up asking the security guard from the leaning center if I could sleep in the parking lot for the park, he told me that he has never seen anybody come by, so it’s pretty much a free go. Had a good night of sleep with no problems.
