Description

Rest stop with sizeable parking area. Has people sleeping in cars, vans, tents, trucks. Looks like this is a good spot to stay overnight, it's even got plenty of bathrooms.

Would not recommend - large homeless population and a lot of trash. I was asked for money and approached by a woman who was telling stories about a man raping women at the stop - probably just trying to scare people but regardless chose not to stay.

Stayed here for a night. Signs say 8 hour max but they don’t enforce it. Be respectful.

Report Check-In

There were about 10 other vehicles at this rest stop. Even though there is a sign that read 8 hours was the limit it was fine to stay all night. There is plenty of parking, bathrooms were clean, and picnic tables are available too.

The rest area itself is okay, so are the toilets. But there are people living in the rest area kind of permanently, one woman just under the trees without a tent, some others in cars or a broken down RV. Some of them clearly on drugs, others drinking in the parking lot and acting strange. We didn’t end up staying there, just didn’t feel safe.

Report Check-In

decent toilets with sand sanitizer and garbage cans. it does seem a bit rougher than other areas we have boondocked in canada - lots of broken glass and people shouting during the night but we stayed there the night without any trouble, just a heads up!

Report Check-In

Decent rest area. Pit toilets that are pretty clean considering. Lots of people staying, the hour maximum doesn't really seem to be enforced. Large area for walking dogs. Enough internet signal to stream Twilight on our way to visit Forks

Report Check-In

Easily accessible. Locals seem to live in the dirt parking lot for larger vehicles. Had no issue with anyone at the rest stop. Pit toilets, a map, and a place to rest your head for the night is all this place offers.

Report Check-In

Good spot. Generally clean toilets for pit toilets. Lots of spaces. Pretty quiet for being right off the main road. 8 hour max stay but shouldn’t have an issue unless you really overstay your welcome.

Report Check-In

Decent spot, if you park away from the bathrooms it’s pretty quiet!

very nice spot, plenty of toilets, lots of people. Felt safe

Report Check-In

Good place to park (and sleep) for the night. 8 hr max parking signs. This rest area is slightly off HWY 12, so there isn't a lot of drive through traffic at night. There is an area towards the back that RVs park that gets even less traffic.
Surprisingly quiet for rest area.

Report Check-In

Had a good night's sleep. No issues. A bit loud. Outhouses.

Report Check-In

Lots of locals sleep here, a few pit toilets, had a long conversation with a 96 year old WWII veteran who was sort of patrolling the area, he gave me some beer, cool guy.

Report Check-In

Many places to spend the night in this rest area. Some are hidden from the lights in the main parking. Pit toilets on site.
There is a bunch of people sleeping there in cars, trucks, vans, but it was pretty quiet at night.
It seemed a better option for us than Walmart in the area.
Signs say 12h maximum stay.
Internet is good (LTE).
