We usually do wild camping but decided to try one night here because of the river, it circles the campground so you can float from the top to the bottom with a back eddy in the middle for cliff jumping and an old Tressel at the end for jumping too. We stayed in the first come first serve section which was quiet and the sites have a decent amount of space between them. The trees around our site had been burned in the 2015 fire and created a beautiful meadow of flowers with tons of bees that didn't bother us and a cool backdrop of scorched Ponderosa pine. Sites are very well maintained and super flat. Fed carrots to some super friendly groundhogs and ended up with an adorable show ❤️Had a great time 😎
Report Check-InWell organized spacious campground. Sites open but well spaced. Flush and pit toilets plus free showers. Fire damage on road in but campground was spared. Good for kids
