Report Check-InThis was a great spot to stay when checking out Olympic NP, but today I got the knock from Walmart employees who informed me there is no more overnight parking here.

We had an awesome night round the back while we got repairs done in town but looking at the 30 odd campers here, some permanently parked up, I figured it wouldn't last long. Sure enough the next day the manager came by to say they're ending overnight parking here. Park at your own risk.
Report Check-InThis lot is NOT open to overnight parking as of today, apparently. I spent 2 nights in my conversion van. Lots of RVs in the lot, none of them were broken down etc, no rowdiness, everyone just minding their own business. First night I had no problem but noticed a Walmart employee sweeping that area of the parking lot for what seemed like a long time. no problems that night either but in the morning they had employees come out and tell everyone they couldn't Park overnight anymore, and had an employee sit in a chair observing while everyone moved along. So, it sounds like things had reached a tipping point I guess.
Report Check-InI broke down and coasted into a parking spot late one night. I ended up having to stay and camp in my van for a few nights while I was waiting for a mechanic to become available. It was refreshing to see a place where the unused parking lot space wasn't occupied by sloppy humans that treat the
space like a garbage can/toilet. Instead, it looked like a quaint little neighborhood capsite/RV park.
People were quiet, respectful, kept to themselves, yet reached out to help when they noticed someone, such as myself, who needed it. No riff-raff, no drama. Great job fellow travelers! Keep it up!
stayed here multiple nights while working at a local restaurant. plenty of people are here long term but everyone is very respectful. parking lot stays very nice and the Walmart employees are very welcoming
Report Check-InMany vehicles of all sizes stayed overnight. Noisy most of the night but wasn't bothered. Easy access to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic NP. The store itself was well stocked & clean.
Report Check-InNot a 24 hr Walmart. It was a nice enough Walmart and I stayed for 1 night. I liked how close it was to Olympic. Good cell service and there are a couple of beaches in town, but I didn’t go.
Report Check-InThis Walmart wasn’t bad at all, park toward the back garden area and it’s actually very quiet at night, the closer you are towards the front the louder and more distracting for shoppers. Stayed here 3nights but was sure to wait till after 5pm, tons of RVs and vans pull in at sunset, especially on the weekend. Please don’t ruin this spot, its a great location for travelers with the NP and aquatic center close by.
Report Check-InOne of the loudest Walmart I have ever experienced. Traffic and semi trucks in and out all night long. Maybe people in RV at garden center had quiet but That was not last night. People in RV cackling laughing 3-5 AM -this is why most Walmarts have stopped giving permission!!! So many people behaving badly, acting like it’s a campground. Sequim location is much cleaner and quieter.

I'm afraid this location will probably start cracking down soon. lots of RVs parked every which way in the parking lot blocking tons of spaces. an abandoned trailer near the garden center. a permanent resident or two.

Parking - room for many vehicles and a way to get on beach if desired. Many other RVs and vans in lot. Parm at the back away from entrance for quiet snd courtesy to shoppers.
Very quiet after 10.30 pm.

Washroom - nope, but you can go to the ones in store.
Stayed two nights so far, plenty other rvs and vans as well. Bright lights, but I have blackout curtains for my bus. I’ll probably be back again. I’m going to buy food and batteries from them soon. Thanks walmart.

Report Check-InNot a typical Walmart this one was quiet. At least by Walmart standards. 20 campers of all sizes and room for more. Will be back to catch the ferry to Canada in a few days.
Report Check-InA very friendly Walmart with nice employees. They came out in the morning and checked in with us to let us know there’s a 24 hour limit. There are some long term looking rv’s that seem to be taking advantage of the parking so it’s probably a matter of time before they don’t allow overnight here. (They were rude to the employees that came out.)
This is a great spot outside of Olympic NP, show some respect and kindness to the employees that work here and don’t leave a mess
Quiet night’s stay next to the garden center. There were about 10 rigs here. Management came around in the morning and politely informed everyone that we may only stay for 24 hours. No issues at all.

Quiet place to sleep, had some travelers sleeping here. Before going to Olimpyc NP, take the opportunity to stock up on food at Walmart as in the next town towards the coast, the markets are small and quite expensive

Report Check-InNice walmart with very large parking lot and pretty quiet as far as Walmart’s go. Got sent here by the cops after being kicked out from another spot at 2am. This seems to be the only spot left in this area not getting shut down for overnight parking besides the rest stop, so stay here. About 20 other vehicles staying here when we were.
Report Check-InDue to Covid, they are not allowing overnight camping. We got away with it on a Friday night, but Saturday, right before closing time, a group of employees knocked on all 8-10 campers in the parking lot and told them they couldn’t stay.

Report Check-InStayed here one night over by the garden center. Few other vans, RVs, converted buses parked here as well. Very quiet. Description says OR (which I’m assuming is Oregon but this Walmart is in Washington. Location is correct just wrong state listed in the description.

Report Check-InQuiet Wall-Mart just outside of Port Angeles. Probably the best Wal-Mart parking there is, and there's not a lot of options nearby (There's a casino, a few pull outs west of crescent lake, and some sketchy forest roads to the east). The only downside is the the lack of parking options due to many, many large rigs.

Report Check-In24h open Walmart that allows to overnight. We asked the employees if it was ok to spend the night here and they said yes. There were around 10 rvs at night. It was calm and quiet, we had a good night of sleep.
Report Check-InRelatively quiet for a parking in town. Floodlights and cameras, safe. Walmart open 24h/7d, hence toilets accessible all night. Parking for campers is sideways behind the building, at least 7 other cars, trailers and camper vans here for the night. Free and legal „Walmart Camping“.
