Description

Cabellas had parking in the rear of the store for RVs.... close to the highway so you hear noise from that. Stayed 1 night. 4 star due to the location.

Latest Check-Ins

Called the store and they were happy to have us over for the night. Told we should park on the left side of the store. On arrival, we noticed 7 parking spaces for trucks and trailers with 5 of them occupied with store trailers. The other 2 were empty and were level. We slid next to a shipping container and that blocked most of the noise from the highway. During the evening a tractor-trailer pulled alongside and provided a windscreen. We shopped in the store and relaxed in front of a large fireplace. The restrooms were clean and the salespeople were very accommodating. There is a Walmart, Lowes, Menards, and a Hobby Lobby along with several restaurants within walking distance. This is our first time boondocking here and will visit again.

RV spot in the rear of parking lot. Other rigs there.
Good place for one night stop.

Stayed one night in the RV parking area. Other stores nearby if you need anything. Easy and quiet for a parking lot. Lots of parking spaces.

Cabela’s is always a great spot to stop for the night, and this one did not disappoint. A couple of other RVs were there on a Friday night. Follow directions for parking on the left and there will be no issues.

Cabelas parking lot, near Avon, Ohio. I called the store before coming to make sure we were welcome. There is rv parking to the left as you face the front of the store. Seems like a reasonable place to rest overnight. No frills, and no hassles. We certainly appreciate Cabelas policy. There is a lot of ambient light from the parking lot illumination. Fair amount of noise from local vehicles and nearby businesses.

Report Check-In

Spent one night here and it was great. We took the dogs for a walk around the building and inside, staff was very friendly. They have small ponds out front where we parked and we woke up in the morning and saw ducks, geese, a blue heron, frogs, and a muskrat right outside the window. We would stay here again.
