Asked customer service, allowed to stay for 24 hours. modern supercenter with the nice restrooms
Report Check-InStayed here one night and didn’t have any trouble. Wasn’t as loud as everyone made it out to be.
Report Check-InTypical Walmart parking lot park along the grass towards the highway. I will say one of the noisiest Walmarts I’ve ever stayed at, seems like nobody has mufflers on their cars or trucks. There were a bunch of younger people congregating and racing around the parking lot until around 10:30 pm. Then after that everything calm down. no issues through the night
Report Check-InTons of people parked overnight, didn’t seem like there was any specific area that you had to park in and no one bothered us, pretty quiet. Easy one night stay about 30 mins from Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Full cell coverage, lots of restaurants and other things nearby.
Report Check-InStayed here two nights with no problems. Lots of other rvs, vans, and campers.
Report Check-InStill good to stay here. Several cars and RVs parked overnight as well.
Report Check-InTypical Walmart bathrooms were clean fairly large parking lot multiple other overnighters some road noise but beyond that slept like a baby. I parked in the very front of the lot by the grass but others were parked elsewhere.
Report Check-InGreat to have a place to”sleep” confirmed with employees ok to stay. In fact I stayed 3 nights BUT don’t plan on sleeping as the parking lot is used by local teenagers etc for racing around with loud mufflers till 1 am and many gatherings and “honking parties “ till at least 10 or 11. I was grateful for a place to stay that didn’t kick me out but it definitely the local hangout.
Report Check-InLarge, level parking lot. Lots of other travelers parked overnight. Great for one night.
Report Check-InLike another post mentioned, my van got hit intermittently with sprinklers starting in the middle of the night until around 6am. I did not get any sleep. Lots of other overnighters and many didn't stay along the grass area. I would avoid parking next to the grass to avoid being up all night. Other than that it felt safe and was quiet enough.
Report Check-InNice town, good stay here at Walmart. Used the free dump at the Exxon station by the airport.
Report Check-InMany other vans, busses, motirhomes, and campers. if you are gonna stay when it is supposed to snow I reccomend checking with the manager to see where they want you to park because of snow removal.
Report Check-InNo overnight signs. Safe place to park, but very noisy. Teenagers hanging out in the parking lot.
Report Check-InVery large parking lot with RVs, vans, trailers, buses, you name it parked here. Also, large groups of young people parked throughout the lot partying all night. It was hard to rest or feel comfortable with screaming, cussing, cars peeling out, girls hollering, etc.
We stayed since we didn’t know where else to go at the time. It was a Saturday night. No one bothered us but not our best Walmart experience.
Good, quiet place to stop for the night. There were a few others also parked overnight.
Report Check-InOvernight parking along grass allowed but street noise and some clean up in parking lot made sleeping problematic.
Report Check-InParked back by the main highway along the grass. Some traffic noise but not too busy. Lots of other stores and restaurants around if you need supplies. Some trailers parked for the night as well. Sprinklers randomly came on at 3:30 in the morning and kept spraying my van. Loud and freaked me out at first but eventually they turned off. Very weird. Other than that, not a bad stop for a night.
Report Check-InAs described. Quiet night and a couple overnighters camped as well.
Report Check-InTypical Walmart experience. Park by the grass. Called and confirmed it’s fine. Enjoy :)
Report Check-InClean and quiet Walmart. We had a great night between a hike in Blue Lakes and our visit of Gunnison !
