There are no signs at the entrance of this road but as soon as you hit the beginning of the Huascaran national park foreigners have to pay 30 soles each! Since 60 soles for 30 km is a lot for us we turned back.
road until entrance was unpaved but good condition so I assume it's the same also ahead.

Report Check-Inwe just crossed the gate from east to west with bikes. Station was opened, tourist buses stopped, but we were waived to continue, no payment asked
