Description

A piece of ground around the village square with lots of street light. Access to clean toilets and showers. Ask for senor Tigre to arrange camping. $1 pp.

Access to nearby waterfalls is another $5 pp.

There are a lot of dogs around, so if you also have one better go somewhere else as they will be barking all night long (after the villagers went to sleep there will be no one to make them quiet). Other than that it is calm.

The name of the village is 23 de Noviembre and/or Siete Cascadas.

Latest Check-Ins

It’s a small village and isn’t really an established camping spot. However the folks in the square are welcoming. There are quite few dogs but aside from some intermittent barking they seem to calm down at night. I was able to access a power outlet. I was also granted permission to their wifi service which was fast. It’s a cool spot Bc it is off of the main highway so it is quiet at night without road noise.

I liked this spot a lot as the folks were friendly and accommodating. Bring your own food and water and look at it as a boon-docking space. But again the wifi I hooked up to was fast.

Super good spot ! 3 km away from the main road is a very small village where you can sleep on central square. Clean toilets and showers open 24h, small market open late with beers and icecreams !

Easy to find, you have a big sign on the main road. We camp there two nights. We pitch the tent near the sanitary block (cold shower and clean toilet) under the shelter. Really good place and friendly people. One guy is passing each morning around 6h30-7am with a motorbike to sell bread. Don't miss him, really good! Not many tourist during the week.
