Overflow parking behind community center.
Entrance is right between the fire hall and the community centre - there is a separate gravel road that goes back. Do not pull into the post office (dead end) or the community centre as it is very tight and there is a gravel berm you’ll need to go over, many RV’s wont fit or will get stuck!
Pull up the dirt ramp towards the back and park where you like! Recommend arriving before dark so you can see where you’re going to get situated, there are ruts and rocks in some spots.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Very quiet. Picknick table and fire ring in the far back lot. Had a great fire and grilled out. Left late the next morning. No problems . Enjoy
Report Check-InVery quiet, one other vehicle (Friday night after labour day).
Nothing spectacular, back from the water - but fine to stay for a night before entering Forillon national park.
Report Check-InStayed one night. Very quiet except for a dog barking in the early evening. One other boondocker arrived for the night. Drive in by the community centre and the drive behind the little hockey rink.
Report Check-InBelle place tranquille.
Report Check-Innice quiet spot for Boonedocking, and close to Forillion Park ,enter between the Post Office and fire station ,go past the ice rink. some fire pits lots of room and flat.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a quick boondock. Access road is right beside the fire-hall - not the post office driveway, and not the community centre driveway - right in between the two there’s a gravel road that goes to the back.
The ground is rough in spots and there are rocks and ruts - arriving before dark is strongly advised, otherwise have a good spotter watching where you’re going as you could get stuck or damage your vehicle / trailer by hitting something.
Please be respectful with the land and your noise levels so this option doesn’t get posted as “no overnights/no camping” like so many other spots in the area have been!
Report Check-InWe stayed here 4 nights while visiting Forillon. Like the others said, it's a large parking lot behind the hockey rink. There is a second field even further with a picnic table but we stayed in the gravel lot. There is a portable outhouse behind the rink as well. The easiest way to access this area is just south of the post office at the entrance of the fire hall. There's a wide road that goes along the side leading right to the parking lot. Keep the place clean!
Report Check-InNice quiet spot! You have to go around the hockey ring to find the gravel road that leads you to the parking. Lots of space, no sign, trash cans in the park beside.
Report Check-InWas pleasantly surprised by this spot; it sounds like just a gravel lot but the view on the surrounding hills and the St Lawrence is actually alright, and it's large and quiet. Great if you're visiting Forillon National Park.
Report Check-InA little tough to find, it's behind the outdoor hockey rink, very big lot with a few picnic tables near the back.
Report Check-InJust set up in our van in the over flow carpark. Huge gravel field, nice and quiet. Hope to see some wildlife tonight/in the morning! Great spot, 10/10 recommend.
