Description
Budget Hotel with excellent staff and lock up secure parking. They have cameras keeping and eye on things and the staff are always there so its very safe. A large gated parking lot but probably not suited for R.Vs as its a Hotel.
$590lp for a large room with a/c and internet, they even let me park my moto there for 6 days while I was away on Utila. 25lp for cold beer and they have other cold drinks too. Not the flashest hotel but a good place to spend the night safely.

Stopped in today (july8 2023) 833L for a room with 2 beds for 2 people. Then wanted 600L to park for 5 or 6 days. If you add cost of transportation to the ferry terminal then the gotel las hamacas (also on Ioverlander) is actually cheaper and it is far nicer.
Report Check-InBasic hotel was 714L for double room. Private bathroom with hot water and aircon. Ask for a back room they are much quiter. Gated secured parking with cameras left our motobike here undercover for the week we're on utila. We were told by local riders not to leave bike at utila lock up as not that safe. Cost 200 for two people for taxi to ferry
Report Check-InAs we needed to work and receive a vaccination, we decided to stay here (if you want to know the most common way of life this is in the center of the city, not the nicest place but two blocks away is the dock where you can watch one of the most beautifuls sunsets in the world).
It was 595 lp a room with two large beds, private bathroom, tv, wifi, a/c. You can park the car here while you go to utila or roatan (as the taxi to the port is 150 lp each way, it's only a good deal to leave your car here if you would stay in an island for more than three or four days...safe parking that closes every night).
Also just two blocks away is the main square where you can find local food and a pizza hut and ceasers pizza.
It is a safe place to spend some time. The owner speaks English. It is located in downtown.
