The right place for a RV, I SIMPLY enjoy it!
Yes, it's quite expensive (as foreigners and considering prices in other countries campgrounds) but a friendly spot for a stormy night in winter and a sunny morning with spring conditions (we stop twice in the park) to grab a cup of coffee on the site's tables!
Super firendly staff, overlanders and amazing views to the mountain ranges and lake.

$36 to camp. Have to reserve online at the website above. Kindof a task but not too bad. $36 does not cover $10 park use pass you’ll pay at hale when you roll in. It’s late July and there’s maybe 40% capacity in the campground. If you’re lookin for a chill place to shower, laundry and relax in between wild camping and boondocking adventures this is the spot. Fire rings and picnic tables at each site. No problem getting level at site for van or tent. All facilities very clean. Park ranger patrol. N

I stayed during the week and this was a lovely quiet little park. The restrooms in the laundry are very clean. It was a little pricey at $36, but a very nice place.

Nice place, we was when - 17c, but shower was hot, no water in sites, internet average.

Beautiful views, hot showers for 50¢/3 minutes, laundry facilities. Full power hookups, sewer onsite, water available through 10/16. Max 2 week stay. Water available at dump station during cold season. WATCH YOUR SPEED! Rangers patrol and will ticket you. Check-in at 1, checkout at noon.

Large campground in a CO state park near Denver. Multiple recreation opportunities within the park. Most sites reserved on weekends. August 2019 camping fee $36 USD per night plus $9 per day park entrance fee.
