Parking beside the street. Beautiful view and sunset. And all that for free!

Beautiful view and super convenient spot off the highway. Even though it was super close to Hwy 1 it felt very secluded. HOWEVER the National Forest was closed due to fires and the road was slightly blocked off with signs saying it was open to local traffic only. We hung out and made dinner, but right after it got dark we had a security vehicle come by and tell us we had to leave or we would get ticketed. Just a heads up that that is a possibility if the national forest is closed for any reason.
Report Check-InFirst pull out when you come off the Hwy. One. Nice views and there are only a few cars on the road. Overlooking Hwy one but hardly can hear traffic as the ocean is just below.
Be early or its gone.
Also up the hill there are a few more sites but you won't hear the ocean or see the sunset.
A great view. Just park on the side of the side road further away from the main road. Met some another overlander there
