Mexico
Excellent rustic resort with bungalows to rent (M$400/700). We are paying M$100 for dry camping, parked 20mt from the idyllic beach. The owners, Armando and Delia, are former fisherman and have wonderful stories to tell. They've created an oasis of peace with security, sanitation, water and silence. It is a few kilometers north of Santispac.

Does not allow overnight van or RV parking! We followed the signs for the place and turned off from the main road onto a dirt road that was okay for our low clearance awd Ford Transit. We drove for about 15 minutes until we reached the beach area. When we got there, we spoke to a nice old man (owner/manager?) who told us they only rent bungalows and that we could not pay to park there overnight.
Report Check-InGreat place! We camped here for Christmas and the sunset was amazing with fishing pelicans and many dolphins. You can see sunrise as well behind the mountains and many pelicans were fishing over morning too. We paid 200peso, but we’re very bad at bargaining, suppose they needed the money.
Report Check-InTurn off at highway sign for Naranjos but then right at sign for punta arena....much prettier and more secluded.
Report Check-InThere are no services here as stated in another post. No electricity or water. It is quiet and pretty
Report Check-InI think the location here is correct. We couldn't find the other Naranjos beach camping location...I think it is down the rougher road with signs to Punta Arena. This resort though is down the wider, nicer dirt road. We paid M$500 for one night in a bungalo. Cold shower that's just a pipe in the wall, flushing toilet, propane stove and oven, two double beds (use your own blankets there's just a mattress cover). 2 metres to the water, fire pit and picnic table. Lovely little place.
Report Check-InLocation incorrect. Playa Los Naranjos is further south down highway 1.
