Description

Walmart parking lot just off Hwy 17 (The TransCanada) in a relatively new shopping area. There's a Canadian Tire right next to it.

The parking lot is owned by the municipality and there are No Overnight Parking signs. I asked in the Walmart & was told police could come and ask you to move but that it hasn't happened in the 2 1/2 yrs she has worked in the store. A clerk in a different store told me she often sees RVs in the lot in the morning when she's going to work.

Latest Check-Ins

We stopped overnight and there were 3 other units here. The clerk in Walmart advised it was no problem. As per another review, she mentioned the lot is owned by the city and we could be ticketed, but that they have never seen that happen.

Report Check-In

We asked permission to overnight at the customer service and they said yes with a nice smile! They asked to park at the south-est section of the parking lot, not near the Garden center. We had a quiet night.

Report Check-In

Typical small Walmart. Asked for permission and got it. Parked against the far end of the parking lot. 4 other RVs here.

Report Check-In

Although a big sign sais No Overnight Parking noone cares and noone sends you away. We stayed there for a very quiet night (and did our shopping there) together with 10 others.
