This is the starting point were you can hike up the hill for a 360 ° view. The hill is in the middle of the crater. Start the hike left hand side from the parking place.

Report Check-InReachable with a normal 2 wheelers car from Cape Cross through the main off-road. It took us roughly 2 hours for about 50km until the edge of the crater. You have another 7km inside the crater to reach the hill in the middle. There you can do the hike and see stunning 360 degrees view. Bring some good shoes and mind your steps as we saw a snake around the top.
