Description

This is the parking of the Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours // Canvas Bistro. The owner is the same for the boat and the restaurant.

After doing the tour and eating at the restaurant, I asked him if it was okay to stay there. It's fine, nobody will bother you. Sometimes, locals leave their car and trailers there when they go fishing too.

Get close to the restaurant and you may get wifi (ask them for the PW).

Fairly level. Some picnic tables too.

Latest Check-Ins

We didn’t do the tour or eat at the restaurant but we stayed at this spot anyway. Bother businesses seemed to be closed while we were there Sept 1.
It was a quiet spot with a nice view of Twillingate from the other side of the water.
There’s amazing hiking just a few miles up the road at Spillers Cove. A definite 10/10!
We also visited the dinner theatre while we were in town. It’s highly recommended for local entertainment. Dinner and the show for under $40!
I asked Pat, at the front desk of the theatre, if we could just camp overnight in the parking lot and she said no problem. There’s a wee view of the water but we were in it for the entertainment value and that way we could have a drink or two with dinner!

Easy spot to camp but can recommend other options in the area. Boat tour did not offer us any whale sitings and staff did not give any interesting information on the surroundings. Do not recommend.
