Stayed there for 3 night with no problem but a lot of other campers!
Some people said that when there are too many campers after 9 am they give a warning but if you move before 9 am no problem
Quiet for a Walmart parking. Really popular spot.
LEAVE BEFORE 8H30am. That's the Walmart rule!
There is better internet across the street at Home Depot!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
lots of campers already here when I got there at 630pm. signs says customer parking, 3 hour limit but had no issues, left at 830am and there were still quite a few campers there
Report Check-InThere are signs saying 2-hour parking only. We checked w/ the front desk and they said we can spend the night as long as we are gone by opening. There were quite a few other campers here also.
We had no problems.
Came here with the intention of sleeping in my car, there are signs all over the parking lot that read “ private property CUSTOMER PARKING ONLY 3 hour limit, unauthorized vehicles will be tagged and/or towed at the owners expense”
Report Check-InSafe and quiet as stated. All other campgrounds were booked up so we ended up here with a bunch of other campers.
Report Check-InGood location with mountain views so stayed again. Moved on before 9:00am as suggested by a fellow overlander.
Report Check-InGood location with some traffic noise. There were 15+ campers parked up for the night. Unfortunately we were unable to connect to the WiFi.
Report Check-InAn employee knocked on our windows at 8h15am telling us it was time to leave! He was nice, told us we were allowed to sleep there!
Report Check-Instayed here several nights. very safe and quiet spot! I was one of perhaps 15 or 20 campers there. two large garbage bins available, one in the covered cart return and one outside, to the left of the entrance. 9:30 is the cutoff to leave (and a very nice walmart employee will come by to remind you!)
on my second visit i noticed a "3 hour maximum" sign, and it looks pretty new... but the lot had more than 10 campers that night, and there was no issue.
Report Check-InStayed the night in the Walmart parking lot, probably the prettiest Walmart parking lot I’ve ever seen thanks to the mountains surrounding it. We weren’t bothered by security at all. There were lots of other people staying the night as well, in campers and minivans and bigger rigs, but everyone was quiet and respectful and almost everyone was gone by 8am.
Weren’t able to get usable internet here in the parking lot, but decent useable internet was found across the street at Home Depot. We also met someone doing some wood working on/in his van in the Home Depot parking lot and was not bothered by security at all.
Report Check-InHave stayed multiple times, only for 1 night at a time. No issues so far
Report Check-InAs said, plenty of campers. We stayed for 4-5 nights hoping for the rain to pass. On the third morning, around 11 am, we were told we had to move earlier in the morning. The parking lot was half empty, so why bother ?
