Beautiful water falls and we'll maintained trails. To see and enjoy all three falls, it takes you approximately 1 hour. The one at the bottom is the most impressive, especially if you walk down to the bottom of the fall.
Entrance $15pp + $5 per car, same price for day visitors. No additional camping fees.
Clean toilets, quiet night on a Thursday.

Very basic camp. No shower, no water, no electricity. Toilets in unacceptable. Lots of celebrating locals. For a night ok, next time we will choose a different place.

3 beautiful falls, area may be crowded from time to time with visitors.
8$ without camping.
15$ is worth with camping, you have bar here and braai (grill) area. Camping is located just next to the water and you can see waterfalls all the time. They have toilets but no showers. It's possible to charge something. The place has security guard over the night.

Just off the road, 3 waterfalls, flat ground to camp. Pay at visitor centre. Small bar open till about 6/7. To visit and/or camp is $15pppn. Toilets but no showers. Lovely walk to the falls. Quiet at night. Bar staff set us up a charcoal bbq for 40kw. Busy with locals in the day (all super friendly and great to see them enjoying their local area) but they don’t tend to stay. 20mins to kasama

Party over the weekend but 18h30 all went quiet and we had the camp for ourselves.

Rodger supplied some firewood and we camped under shaded trees on the river. No power no water at site.

Very helpful and friendly staff.

The D20 road from Kasama to Mkorokosa is tar but past Mkorokosa west it's washed away into dongas and not drivable.

USD15 pppn + USD5 per vehicle

A useful stopover if heading to Lake Tangynika. Waterfalls are worth a visit, nice walk and some natural swimming pools. As we had paid to see the falls camping was free. There is a large firepit and wood was brought for us to make a good fire for the evening and to cook on. Toilets were basic but clean and perfectly adequate. Friendly night watchman and the site was quiet from 5pm. An added bonus was some good bird sightings.

Camping is free since you pay 15 USD pp + 5 USD per car to visit the falls anyway. No SADC price which makes it quite expensive compared to what we paid in Victoria Falls if we hadn't camped... Very pleasant place if not busy but be aware that there's a bar opposite to the reception. It was Thursday and there were groups of locals with loud music in their cars. They left after sunset but on weekends it can be annoying I imagine. Beautiful waterfalls. Remember to ask for a receipt after paying!!! Excellent internet signal with MTN.

Beautiful waterfalls with good walking trails and great viewpoints ... Not to be missed!
Campsite is clean and well maintained. No showers but you can swim in the river and clean toilets available.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place! Yes the ablutions are basic (and no shower). But 3 amazing waterfalls within 500 meters. You can also swim here (no crocs) and the staff is super super friendly!! (Even bought us a beer).
Firewood is included.
If you don’t come on the weekend you are likely to have the place to yourself.
With a campsite next the water! Seriously beautiful.

Nice falls, don't miss the walk to the viewpoint behind the campsite area. Negotiated on price but only marginally. Massive party in the afternoon on the Saturday we were there. They leave after 5/6pm but a lot of litter and broken glass is left behind, including on top of the waterfall.

For mee it was the worst campsites since I am on the road (3 1/2 months) waterfalls were nice bit the campsite is nothing. Dirty toilets and thats it.
Negotiated price down to 300kwache but to be honst I should have turnd around and asked the lodge some km away to stay there.
A mechanic earns 100 kwacha a day for hard work in sambia so its just not fair to pay them 300 for doing nothing.

Report Check-In

As described. Negotiated and paid for one p and a car.
Tar road from Kasama to here and then to Mporokoso is new and almost perfect.

Report Check-In

Really beautiful. Especially at the edge. Great experience. Sunday it is really crowded and loud. We tried to overrule three musicboxes with our own ;-), but at the evening/night is is very quiet.

Wonderful falls, views are incredible. Camping isn’t as great and more like wild camping. There are toilets and water, but no showers. It was very busy (Sunday afternoon) when we were there, but extremely friendly atmosphere. Considering you pay $15pp whether you camp or not, staying the night is worth it! You can find spots to swim too!

Lovely location between the upper and lower falls. Good walking trails to viewpoints.
There is a power socket in the small round Banda near the river. We got enough power to run our 1kw immersion from it for our showers.
A few day visitors but we were the only campers. Onsite security overnight.
MTN signal good with internet.
