nice quiet street parking by Gabriel Park, plenty of spots at night. the street is on a hill but there's flatter parking at the top of the hill just before the parking signs. bathrooms seem to be open 24/7, except the lights go out at 10:30PM. few cars zoom by at night that caused our van to sway but nothing intolerable.

slept in park parking lot.No trouble. Road is not flat enough IMO. They locked bathrooms around 1030pm. Opened them early.

Report Check-In

We arrived late and felt a bit uneasy at first because the park is extremely dark. We ended up parking along the street by another van. The side we were on is definitely a hill, but it gets a bit flatter further up. Road was relatively quiet through the night but definitely got super busy in the morning. Overall probably one of the best options if you need to be near the city. We used the community center showers for $2 in the morning:)

Spent two nights in the park's parking lot along with another stealth camper. It was a little noisy at times, but quieted down around 1AM. Felt relatively safe for being in the city.

The bathrooms were clean and stocked which was also really nice.

Lots of parking along the road next to the park. Bathrooms are open 24/7 but not always stocked so bring your own tp! There’s a community center around the corner with showers for $2. Very clean and safe area for van lifers wanting a safe spot close to the city.

Report Check-In

Public bathrooms open 24/7, water fountains, long strip of parking, some of it is level. The cars going by can be pretty loud and noise can be heard from the playgrounds, but it felt like a very safe spot. We stayed for 2 nights with no problems.

Bit of an incline where I was parked, but it was nice and convenient!

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights. First night we did street parking on Vermont street since it seemed to be more level. Great park for dogs, kids and just hanging out in the sun. There’s a dog park, basketball court, baseball field and playground. Plus lots of space to sprawl

Gabriel Park. Lots of dog-friendly trails. A little muddy this time of year, but a beautiful spot. The road is quite busy, but the neighborhood seems very quiet otherwise.

Public parking overnight seems very acceptable, with no signage prohibiting parking anywhere along this lengthy strip.

Small convenience store and strip mall with restaurant 1 block away.

Park construction still going on, so no bathrooms or water. But it’s definitely a nice spot for being so close to the city. I didn’t feel like I was encroaching on neighbors at all. A good amount of car traffic, separated by a bike lane. A dozen walkers/joggers on the sidewalk next to me in the morning. Nothing sketchy, and plenty of parking room!

love this park! as good as it gets for parking in a city. pretty nice if you have a dog because theres a great dog park for the morning and trails to walk on. park itself is open till ‘midnight’ and you can park on the street outside overnight. stayed two nights and there were a couple people staying both nights. bathrooms are not open due to construction but there are portapotties inside the park or a convenient ditch to pee in right by the street parking. there were a few people walking by in the morning but no one seemed bothered and i felt safe even in my not so steathy set up. construction does seem to start right nearby in the morning but it didnt wake me up till around 8 so no complaints. if you stay i would definitely take time to explore the park in the morning as its really nice. cute skatepark too. please respect the area!

This place is really nice and quiet and we felt super safe here! But pls be very respectful of the park! Don’t use the dumpsters here— they don’t want people to use them, they’re for the park construction workers only and I don’t want them to start getting leery of the folks street parking here for taking advantage of stuff like that yknow

Stayed here for a few nights while waiting out a snow storm. Some road noise at night but not too bad. Pretty close to lots of great food and coffee @ multnomah village and really nice park for walking / running. Bathrooms closed when sub-freezing but there are porta potties. Felt very safe.

Parked here with another Skoolie. Xfinity wifi, trash dumpsters, and restrooms in the morning! Lovely place to stay.

we didn't have any trouble, but it's right on a busy road so we didn't sleep very well either. there's some other parking in the park, but you might get a knock there. this spot is right by a playground, so keep that in mind as to not have creeper factor depending on when you are parked and what your rig looks like.

Quiet parking during the night was parked with another rv
