Namibia
Very large sandy site without trees at the beach and with view on the beach in one direction and sand dunes in the other direction. The site was deserted when we were there and according to the guestbook that is more rule than exception. Reasonably well maintained ablutions. Municipality operated. Inexpensive. Near the B2, the main road between Swakopmund and Walvisbaai, therefore noisy at night.

2019 spring: now 130 for camping plus 40 pp. now 150 for camping plus 45pppn
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Worst camp in 6 months in Africa... ablutions terrible dirty, no hot showers, no shade, broken glass on each site (do not go here with children). All are out of time !!
Don't waste money here.
I try to explain the safety problem for children at the manager but we must pay full just 10% discount and apologizes "it's public space"... go away !!
180 for camp site and 55 per person. Looks like just a huge parking lot. No wind or sun protection. Too expensive for what it looks like. We continue the search for another camp.
Report Check-InHuge campsite we were alone , the ablutions are not well maintained but water are hot you have to be patient it takes about 5 minutes until it warm. 120$ for camping 32$ pp. No reception so pay only cash. Wi-Fi very good at the entrance, ask the guards for password.
Report Check-In150ND, low season, for two persons and camper. hot shower, sink for dishes with hot water, electric available.
no complaints from us.
Everything as described. Price now: High season 130 for camping plus 40 pp. Loe season 75 pp, no camping fee. Got several quotes from guard and office, so not sure. We paid 150 for 2 persons and truck. We were alone at the campsite too. Not worth for what you get, but it's a communty project and worth supporting. People are very friendly.
Report Check-InBest camping we found in the Swakopmund-Walvis Bay Area. Clean, well spaced sites with water and electricity at each site. Just off the beach and with play area for children. Quiet outside holiday times. Nicer and less expensive than camping options in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. n 75 pppn. Ablutions are just OK, staff is very friendly. Some comments mention road noise but we had no issues.
Report Check-InOn the beachfront with sand dune and EXTREMELY VERY busy road behind the resort. 😲 Resort run and maintained by local municipality. Very run down though. Ablution facilities very basic. Toilet seats broken, basins rusted and doors to showers cannot lock 🙈. The site is nice and clean. Very deserted. We are only campers here. When we booked in January, we were told that the resort was almost fully booked. I wonder what happened to the other campers? Dustbins everywhere and braai drums far and few between. Security guard on site and lady were friendly.
Report Check-InCompletely deserted, found a spot near the ablutions.Very very noisy due to the traffic,Local Total Service station friendly staff and goods reasonable priced.
Staff at resort friendly and helpfull
Big camping site right near the sea. Can be windy and cool/cold. Near the main road, so you can hear traffic.
Price N$284 for 4 persons and 2 cars. You pay N$128 for the pitch (8 pax max) and N$39 pp. This the price for high season.
Pitches are all sand.
When we where there only 3 places where occupied. In summer this place is crowded.
They still are building more pitches with braai facilities.
Local bar at the end of the pier.
Ok campsite. Lots of space but no shade. When we were there we had a nice breeze from the sea.
Toilet and shower u are ok. Not superclean. The showers are nice and hot!
Furthermore friendly staff. Laundry service available for 25,50 N$ per kilo. But you can agree on a price with the friendly lady. Our washing was superclean and she even ironed our clothes.
A nice and cheap location to stay for one night.
Lastly there is WiFi available at the reception.
We paid 146,- N$ per night, two persons and a 4WD.
Report Check-InAs described, very cheap campsite in comparison others in Swakopmund. About 15 minutes drive from Swakopmund. 106N$ (2 adults, camper) Unfortunately no-one else was staying in the campsite.
