18 sites, nicely equipped with fire rings, concrete picnic tables, pit privies, water, and trash pickup. Mountain views showing some snow on tops. The campsite is very large and has a lot of shrubbery affording some privacy from other sites. We had a neighbor who let his unleashed dog defecate freely without picking it up, and burned plastic in his campfire. Unfortunate that some people are so inconsiderate. ATT has 3 bars and 5G. We spent 2 nights here. Overall this is a lovely small campground, with spacious, private feeling sites.

Still open and a great place to be while Palm Springs is going through a 95 degree heat wave in early spring. The campground is at 4,023ft. 19 sites, only a few are level. Just myself and one other occupied site on a weekend. Water is still turned on. Each site has a picnic table and fire/grill pit. Still $8/night. Some sites had some deep ruts due to mud/rain. The loop around is rocky gravel, and I saw two Prius’ make it around just fine in dry conditions.

Very nice place! Every site has his own picnic table and BBQ place. Clean and Safe Place. we were the only one in this night. make Sure that you have small dollar bills. made it with 29ft RV

Report Check-In

Currently it says “road closed” and the gate is locked. Surely it’s just a seasonal/winter/spring thing when closed.

Report Check-In

As stated, some nice spots here w/views of snow capped mountains. Road a bit muddy & flooded in places, but doable. We stayed a couple nights (good deal w/NP pass). Only couple other cars here. Bathrooms not well maintained, but sufficient. We got a little snow one evening. Clear blue skies & no wind 2 days later. Lots of small trees & brush.

Report Check-In

Clean and quiet. Only 2 others overnight. Good stop. Lots of good spots. Water on.

Came across this spot while driving through the mountains and decided to stay for the afternoon and work here the next day. It’s $8 a night, there seem to be a few long timers that are posted up. The dogs are still very loud in the nearby houses, but didn’t bother us. The views and sunset were spectacular, the weather was perfect. The sites were all very clean and trash cans and bathrooms seem to be regularly taken care of!
We had a great time!

Report Check-In

Definitely not a bad place. Only $4 if you are a senior. Some road and dog noise but reasonable. Shared the place with 3 others. 19 sites total. Easy access. 4 bars ATT.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Hardly anyone here. Cooler than Indio. Windy. Good Verizon reception.

Report Check-In

Nice clean camp. Lots of road noise. Homes very close to camp are noise with barking dogs and donkeys. Great views of the snow covered peaks

Report Check-In

Nice clean camp ground. Fairly level with plenty of room for most rigs. Fairly close to highway so you get road noise but worse than that is the homes that are a rocks throw away from campground. Lots of barking yapping dogs and donkeys. Excellent views of the snow capped peaks was the best part

Report Check-In
