A good place to camp - close to the highway but completely out of sight behind a dirt wall and forest. Compact gravel, clean, no infrastructure, space for several small campers/cars. Follow the track (starts to overgrow) down for approx. 400-500 meters, no 4x4 needed. watch out for mud. And we had NO bugs/mosquitoes.

Indeed a perfect spot for the night. But please people do not litter these spots and take your garbage with you. I collected a garbage bag full and took it to the next litter box along the highway.Report Check-In
Small road of hwy. Only one here. Quiet and secluded. No mosquitoes today.Report Check-In
Very nice place, at km 251, northbound from Dawson Creek (km 0 of the AlHwy), on the east side of the Hwy. Wide opening on the Hwy followed by more narrow road going down. Enough place for 2 or 3 medium rigs (25-28')... not enough place to turn around for bigger rigs. The old road site is mentionned in the Milepost 2023 guide but no mention about camping or parking for the night.Report Check-In
Nice and pretty quite for being so close to the road. No bugs! Perfect for my Ford F350 with camper.Report Check-In
It's a great spot. just watch out for mud on the way down - not good during wet weatherReport Check-In
Nice quiet spot. It had been raining so the steep descent was muddy and we needed 4wd to get out. we knew that would be the situation before we went in though. Tons of mosquitoes.Report Check-In
