Latest Check-Ins

Pretty busy rest area, I tried to look for signage as people here are reporting it’s closed or strict time policy but didn’t find anything. We stayed the night here with no issues.

Report Check-In

Do Not plan to sleep for the night, or even daytime. This place is being closely monitored by state police. I was just informed by an officer they are actively clearing out vehicles several times a day. I just rolled in and he was knocking on all windows and evicting anyone that appeared to be setting up to sleep for more than an hour. “One hour” is all I get for now. Looks like the parking signs are being replaced and will likely reflect the 1-hour time limit. Used to be 8-hours.

Report Check-In

This reststop still CLOSED April 7, 2023.

Pilot in Arlington just north is a great alternative.

Report Check-In

The rest area is closed to RVs because there was an influx of people living in RVs using the rest area as a permanent camp site and trashing the place. The greater Seattle area has a persistent homelessness problem and I suspect this will cause this location to be closed for a long while.

Report Check-In

Stayed here exactly 8 hours as there are signs up stating you will get towed if staying any longer, watched a truck get towed so wouldn’t risk it, but otherwise clean(ish) washrooms, running water and pet area, fairly safe place

Report Check-In

Update, this rest is open; however they have posted different time limits in various areas so be aware of where you park. our assumption is that where there is no time limit signage we can spend the night. If that turns out not to be the case, I will update my notice.

Report Check-In

Signs on the I-5 leading up to the rest stop say it’s closed and the entrance is blocked. I don’t know if this is temporary or permanent so you might want to plan an alternative just in case…
