Description

Visitor center. chamber of commerce Invermere. Asked permission even though there are no signs for overnight camping. We parked a huge motorhome in front of ball field on Saturday afternoon.
Very little traffic in parking lot.
Free potable water with hose at building.
There is a day use area with picnic tables. And there are restrooms in that area. Did not use.
Great spot especially if all campgrounds are full.
Please don’t abuse this site as campgrounds are turning into neighborhoods, local said.

Latest Check-Ins

Beware! I was told upon arriving that the local Lions Club owns the land for the visitors center, ball park, golf course and the land next door where an RV park is being built. Even though the visitors center may have given permission, it is now in error according to the camp host who happened to be in the new Lions Club RV park.
I get it, they don't want to allow boodocking smack in the middle of their RV Park entrance...

Still a good quiet and clean parking spot at night. Amazing view from the slide door. Keep it clean to not kill this helpful spot

We just stopped to have lunch at out van, a guy came and said we could not stay in there because an event was going to happen at their parking lot. We asked to stay at the other side, that was open for parking, and he said he prefered we did not stay in there, because the parking lot is meant for visitor that stay a short time. We did not feel welcome.

Spacious lot. At the far end there’s no overnight parking listed among other things but it may apply to the park and beyond the fence that it’s on. In at 10pm out by 7

Report Check-In

Spent a night here, no problems. Quiet enough.

Report Check-In

Quiet location aside from road noise... no issues staying one night. Be respectful of the location, people use the day use area. One night is okay, not sure they would be keen on multiple.
