Designated gravel parking spaces near the lake. $5 per night, $15 with hookups. There is a box to put your money in. Didn't see anybody who worked there. There is a bathroom with a sink. Very basic but a good safe and relatively quiet place to stay.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Third time here. Always a pleasant place to stay. The lakeside campsites can be a bit muddy.
Report Check-InThe water was not working in the bathroom: either the toilet and the sink.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay! Eveything is pretty much mentioned. There are 4 sites with full hookups (30 Amp) for 15$ and some boondocking spots for 5$. You can empty your sceptic tank for 10$ if you are not camping. Noise from highway and a casual train.
Report Check-InThis is our second time staying here. It’s a small well spaced campground around a pond, in a town park. It’s very close to I-70, so there’s road noise, and also trains passing, but it feels very pleasant and safe.
Report Check-InVery nice local park. Bathrooms are still open as of today. About 4 or 5 dry sites, and a few with hookups. $5 for dry sites. $15 for hookups. Unfortunately, some moron defecated in our site, and left cigarette butts and trash in the fire ring, which we cleaned up. The sites have trash barrels. Overall the sites are very nice, open and level. There is some road noise, but not bad. Excellent Att coverage with 3 bars and 5G service.
Report Check-In4 fhu sites (30a). nice grounds. fishing. some road/train noise. no one else here on Friday night. $15 or $5 no hookups
Report Check-InClean, quiet level spots. Really nice park. Easy access to I-70. Thank you Montrose for such a nice spot!
Report Check-InVery nice over night stop. We arrived Sunday nobody there. Only us. Next day camping sites almost full.
Report Check-InStayed one night, great now they have full hookups, but the grounds were muddy puddles. Looks like they are still working on it. $15 for electric, $5 without
Report Check-InPerfect place to stop for the night. Dark and quiet. Hook ups and water. The Mayor of the town even stopped by in the morning to say hello! The bathroom was unfortunately locked when we were there.
Report Check-Ina little spooky driving in at dark. next to the highway and cemetery. easy spot to pullover for a night of driving. nobody else was here during shoulder month so we had the place to ourselves. bathrooms are closed over the winter. highway is loud.
Report Check-InThe 4 spaces are small, back-in only, low overhanging tree branches...cost is $15 for hookup as of 5-2022....there is no place for large rig turn around...small fishing pond, large picnic pavillion
Report Check-InIt’s now $5 “rough” camping and $15 for hookups. Lockbox and envelopes are on the side of the restroom building. Near a small lake so plenty of bugs. Otherwise a decent night’s stop where there aren’t so many places (Midwest).
Report Check-InGreat place to stay overnight. $15 for electric and water available. Bathhouse was locked. Little trail around pond to walk the pup. Spots do flood a bit w heavy rain. Small playground too. I would stay here again.
Report Check-InThe most exposed camping we've ever done - but had to cut our driving day short due to an incoming monster storm, so we stayed! Sure, kinda noisy from the road, but so private! Bathrooms were locked but there is water and electrical.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. Very little company. Payment box with envelopes makes it easy to pay anytime. 30amp and water worked great. Spot # 2 was not quite level but barely noticeable. Others looked quite flat. Nearby duck pond, playground, etc. Bathroom was locked. Didn’t see the spot when I first drove in in the dark, but it’s right where GPS says it is.
Report Check-InLittle road and train noise. Easy to find in the dark. Bathrooms were clean and open. Worth $5 if you’re ready to stop for the night.
Report Check-Inspending a couple of nights. Great spot but with all the rain, the grass is muddy. 15 amp with water, and a dump station. talked to a worker today, told me to stay as long as I want. $11 a night with hookups. left trailer today to go see the Town of Casey, 20 miles away. many world largest items, a must see.
Report Check-InUpdate: RV sites are available for $11/night. Water and electricity. No dump station. Bathrooms were locked when we were here.
Report Check-InGravel spaces, fire pit, electric, water tap, close to bathrooms, just off the highway. No one is here on the weekend. Bathrooms were closed. ideal stop for a night!
