Description

A series of lovely bluffs with options above and below. There are two entrances in the south track. Takes you to two nice big bluffs over the sea- one with a fallen tree that may provide good cover. The north track takes you to one bluff with two tracks leading down either side to rocky beaches that also may provide wind cover. Beautiful spot.

Great Sea of Cortez camp spot. We spent two nights in the northern low section. A Grey Whale and some sea lions were swimming just offshore both evenings. Lots of fish and snails on the rocks.

Beautiful view down to an amazing beach with lots and lots of fabulous shells. Road in and out is good and has large area to park a big vehicle. Tons of places to snorkel.

This is a nice stop to camp have lunch or just explore a rocky beach for shells and skeletons.

Drove out here from Guerrero Negro. Roughly 150km of bumpy dirt/sand roads. Gets a little hairy at times but not too bad if you have ground clearance and basic maneuvering skills. I made it in an AWD Ford Escape with no issues and half of the drive was done in the dark. Great spot to spend a night, completely secluded

Nice place, we stayed on the cliff with seaview. If you like fossils have a look to the hills on your right. I recommend to go during the day to Pancho's beach where there is the small fisher place, the beach is very beautiful. The road from Bahía de Los Angeles is not too bad, but I recommend high clearance and 4wd. The road to east (Punta de San Francisco / El Barril) is a little bit less good, some rocky and sandy passage, but it is ok with high clearance and 4wd. After that, the carratera el Arco to join the highway 1 is very good.

Amazing wind protection from the north down on the rocky beach and sandy room to tent to the left, need 4x4 and no big rigs to get down to the left beach, but lots of room to camp on bluffs.

Nice spots here. Tried Boca Grande (storm damage) and Panchos but lots of working fishermen. The Bluffs are nice. The road from BoLA to San Francisquito is in bad shape, bad further west too. 4x4 only as of this date.

Stopped here on a rainy day headed back to Bay LA. Really cool and rocky. It would make a nice place to spend the night. Tons of wildlife.

we took the north entrance and stayed on top of the cliffs. We had no wind but could get very windy. lot's of bird life. Had a pod of dolphins hanging around and saw a group of seals playing and jumping out of the water. Amazing primitive spot.

I ran into a traveler just north at the houses who had come with a bottle of tequila for kind of a legend similar to Coco, but came to find the man had passed Spring '18. Camped in a draw here between bluffs near the water. Very peaceful spot and beautiful.

Beautiful View, there are a few places with fire pits. Some of the tracks need high ground clearance, I didn't put on my 4x4. The View is awesome!!

someone was at the south so we took the North up top. Great views and super quiet and beautiful. we walked along the water Nirth until we hit Poncho's camp which had a few motorcyclists staying there. We were glad to be here all by ourselves.
