At the end of this road there is a boat ramp and a car park where you can wildcamp, next to the river Kourou. It's a beautiful place where you can swim or just sit and watch the world go by. Lots birds and if you're lucky, monkies. There is also a shelter where you could string a hammock.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
At the end of the road there is the water station of kourou. On your right a parking and a Dégrad for the boat and on the left a track/trail that goes to two wood caban. There is place to park your car under the trees. If nobody is on the caban you can use the dock to swim or shower or wash your dishes. you can use the caban if you have a hammock or the bbq
PS : use candle wax to start the fire, wood is too humid otherwise !
Some mosquitoes so take mosquito net to sleep well. Water is not drinkable and there is a fountain but you have to pay and we didn’t knew how to pay (magnetic card system?)
estuvimos tres noches aqui, poco movimiento durante la semana y mucho durante el fin de semana..sin facilidades
