BLM dry camping on the North Shore. $15/n or &75/year from date of payment. 14 consecutive nights. Min relocate 25 miles. No return for 14 days. Pit toilets.
Good Striped Bass fishing. Good places to hang hammock with mosquito net added. Some places with good shade. Showers ten minutes drive over at Squaw Lake. Showers needs BLM $1 tokens for hot water. Seven minutes/token. Sign shows five minutes.
Potable water at South shore entry piont. Raccoons, wild burro, deer, coyote, rabbit, snake, quail & more. My favorite place for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

always amazing. we love it here. our dogs love it. we will have a YouTube of it soon on Tree Town batiks .
Report Check-InThis is the Imperial Dam Recreational Area (fee area). Cost = $75/year. Well worth it! Just outside this area is the Imperial Dam BLM LTVA (long-term visitor area). Cost = $180 for the season (Sep 15th thru Apr 15th), and this pass is good for ALL the BLM LTVA's in this region (Quartzsite AZ to Yuma AZ area & couple areas in California).
Report Check-InBeautiful location by the lake. Cayotes howling at night and at some stites protection from the wind. T Mobile phone lousy data speed. Friendly campers and hosts.
Report Check-InBeautiful gravel spot on the shoreline. A bit confusing as to how to get here. We were told to go down the hill at the LTVA area with dump station and potable water and then turn left and follow the road. A dirt road with some good sized hills, but we were in a Sprinter van and had no trouble. So much quieter and more private than the LTV across the lake. Beautiful views too. Can see that there may be times when you can’t find a spot. Very popular and people can stay 14 days at a time. Really like it!
Report Check-InSome likes, some not.
For us, we paid $75 annual for 14 days at time. So we stay in Oxbow for 10 day than moved here. Its kind of green spot in the desert. The reservoir / lake have clear water, but you have to bring with you drinking water. The place busy. Its normal, everyond want to stay in oasis.
You can get full dump station service and fresh water at the LTVA.
Fantastic BLM LTVA AREA surrounded by mountains and desert. Close to lakes and great kayaking $180 for 7 winter months all services at the entry Boondocking at its best!
Report Check-Inamazing camp. we did have to move our spot because of 1 group of people would start there generator at 6:30 am and not shut it off to around 10:30 pm. real crappie folks. just pathetic people with loud noise generators.
we grabbed a new spot and it was amazing. dogs loved it. lots of fish jumping. it is pay. = 15 a night up to 14 days a month and $75 for a year pass. but if you have a National Park pass its half off. so it's only $7.50.
go get ya some.
We were very disappointed with this location. This glorified gravel pit was quite crowded with absolutely nothing to do. The reservoir water was refreshing but good luck finding a spot along the water’s edge. We drove into Yuma to do laundry and stock up on supplies before moving on.
