There are many options along this coast road, beautiful drive though might need high clearance. We chose this spot as it was a little further away from the road and in a more solitary destination, possible to level if you get right up on the edge. Lovely spot.

GPS will take the adventure route!
On HWY 1 from either direction you could go to (31.3906332, -116.3215393) first. There you will see the paved road to Eréndira. From there not even the GPS can get it wrong.
We did enjoy the adventure route but prefer the paved road to Eréndira. I think it’s faster too. Google maps from HWY 1 will be wrong from either direction but from the north the roads get sandy and there is a massive downhill part at the end that can be intimidating. We did it in 2 wheel drive but I don’t think we can make it back up that way.
We have stayed here twice (3 nights total) and have been alone for it all. Only a few cars drove by the whole time we were here. Seems like mostly fishermen.
Report Check-InBeautiful secluded spot overlooking the cliffs. Very secluded, we were the only ones.
Report Check-Indefinitely more tucked away than the spots further north which was great for my cattle dog prone to chasing anything and everything. little difficult to get level for the night but ended being a nice little spot to crash. I would hesitate to come on from the north off 1 without high clearance. The few KMs we're a little rough. I would keep going south as there are some spots with better parking/beach access but overall pretty sweet!
Report Check-InGreat surf break down the road from coordinates. Locals call it Long Beach. Punta Cabras on map. Hurricane took out sections of road from erindira so use caution. Coyote cal hostel has WiFi and bar only 20-30 minutes from campsites. Traveling in truck camper and road is on Baja race course. Beat up and bumpy but no problems
Report Check-InRoad in from San Tomas was a beautiful drive, slightly corragated and rutted out in places on the desent onto the coast. Campsite is exposed to the offshore ocean breeze, nice outlook.
