Beautiful park, reasonably priced, not too many amenities though

Report Check-In

Big campground with lots of other campgrounds. Some on the water, some not. Some require reservations and some do not. Pit toilets at all locations. Boater paradise. Non resident price $42 on reserveamerica.com 2-3 bars Verizon service in spot TM-30 too close to power lines for me but good for one night

Stopped for water, great camping area, paid spots

great campground right on the lake. easy to pay at the kiosk at the entrance to the campgrounds. there are a few sites with hook up but I decided not to pay extra for it. pull thru sites with fire pits and picnic tables as well as pit toilets. very peaceful and only one other camper while I was there. lots of cows grazing all around and a little windy but it was beautiful

great state park. many Campgrounds to choose form. these sites are not free. you have to use the reserve America app
to book a site.

Report Check-In

Not free. $9 for a day pass, for out of state residents. $16 more for overnight camping with a reservation during the summer months. Sure, the east side doesn't have a check in box, but you should still pay and support the park, or risk getting fined. Park is very gorgeous though with plenty of paid camping spots.

There's a fee to enter the park from the West but not from the east.
