Absolutely gorgeous sunset! Quiet through the week but I’m betting with such a gorgeous beach it gets busier on weekends.

Infested with mosquitos. Strangest campsite we've ever stayed at, pretty much abandoned even on a weekend. Random people turning up in the night and setting off fireworks. Awesome view of the lake but definitely wouldn't recommend staying overnight. We booked for two nights but left after one.

Beau camping sur le bord de la plage. L'odeur de plage y est, mais ce n'est pas désagréable. Il y a effectivement des douches payantes (1$/?? minutes).

Nice campground. No host so you pay online. Someone a few hundred metres before the campground sells firewood.

If taking highway 227 in, the ride can be bumpy due to unpaved gravel road. However, once you reach this destination, it is worth the journey! And if you are like my wife who prefers people over bears, you’ll be surrounded by a campground full of rv’s. The beach is absolutely beautiful so arrive a bit earlier to take advantage of it. About 800 meters of walkable water (won’t go passed knees) until it deepens makes for a relaxing beach day with kids. Go online to see what availability there is (unserviced/serviced sites provided at costs of $17.50/$32 per night). One of our favourite stops!

Wide open, right on the lake with a large beach. Clean flush toilets, clean hot showers $1 (loonies only) for a few minutes. Lots of quiet groups while we were there but it was quite windy which made it a little loud. Sites 14 and 15 have spots to get out of the wind, 11 and 12 will be blasted. We checked in and paid online ($17.50 for unserviced) when we arrived since the office was closed (late season). Serviced and unserviced sites available.
