Richard fue de una ayuda increíble con nosotros; el no repara motorhomes grandes porque no caben en su taller pero si supo directamente lo que tenia nuestro carro y nos acompañó en varios lugares donde necesitábamos (fibra de vidrio, electricista, mecánico, soat..). Un hombre de 10!

Richard was a super help for us. We bought a van who’s needed a complete check. We stayed 2,5 day with Richard and he let us sleep in front of his house ( guarded area). We helped with all the things, and things that weren’t his expertises he know a guy for. If you need a mechanic. Richard is for 100% sure your guy. Half British so speaks english fluent. I didn't have such a good experience here. I came for brake maintenance (pad replacement, fluid change, clean-out), which they completed adequately and in good time. However they weren't able to bleed the system correctly. They acknowledged there was a problem but couldn't fix it, claiming it was probably a defective pump. I left with very spongy brakes (not safe). Fast forward to Barranquilla and another mechanic fixes the problem within ten minutes. FYI - Richard wasn't here, it was Cesar, if it makes any difference.

We had some minor things done with the vehicle to prepare it for shipment. Guillermo did a solid job on the car; he and Richard were super friendly and very fair in their price (local prices). We also had a tire issue and Richard guided me to a workshop who did a very solid job for super little money. These guys are trustworthy mechanics that understand their profession and don’t rip you off...I would definitely recommend them!

we had to repaired our radiator from our VW T2 and he let us work in his place, also drove me to the place where check the radiators and try to get a good price for me. Really nice people and good mechanic

This is the absolutely best place to have your vehicle worked on in Colombia in our experience. Huge and safe compound will take any size rig. Richard Frost trained in the UK and the US, speaks fluent English and although his speciality is modern European cars (Porsche, Mercedes, BMW etc), he is a 4 wheel drive enthusiast and he worked happily and competently on our Land Rover - mechanical problem, electrical, welding and body work. He can order parts for you from overseas too. He ran us around helping us look for local parts and was generally just fantastic. He is well known and respected in the motor trade here and if what you need is in the country he will find it. He charges local rates too and doesn’t add ‘tourist tax’!
